So, now we’ve crossed the dateline and we have no earthly idea what time it is at home – way too confusing as we keep losing hours every night still. As long as we keep the computer on though, we can sort of figure out the time! Once we hit Sapporo we’ll be 14 hours ahead…..we think!
We won’t bore you with all the particulars – you all know the drill by now: exercise, breakfast, trivia, lunch, coffee at the lobby bar, blog, read, watch a movie, more trivia (no we haven’t won yet, but we’re coming close), exercise, dinner, sometimes show – or at least bands – bed.
Yep – that and fighting with the barely or non-existent Internet. They finally turned the whole thing off the other day – just gave up. The purser has been instructed to tell everyone that there “is no hope” of getting it fixed. Oh joy! We all did get a cabin credit for the problem though, that was a very nice gesture.
Seas have been really rough the last few days = we are rocking and rolling and bumping our way across the Pacific. The sea sickness bags are out – but it really wasn’t much of a problem for me – surprisingly enough.
Balcony fantastic, except we haven’t been able to use it because it’s been so darn cold, rainy and windy. Here’s hoping that the next few days get better so we can make more use of it and not when we’re completely bundled.

Hi Cathy and Ed,
I'm glad you are able to 'blog' while on this trip. It's been great reading your stories. I hope the seas are more calm and that you can enjoy the balcony more often.
Have fun!
Monica
