9/29 – Sea Day

Standard sea day fare – exercise, breakfast, coffee bar, trivia, lunch, this time a lecture on Vladivostock – which we totally could have missed (Maggi – we are completely missing the boat here….literally! We need our own lecture series!) – then afternoon trivia and dinner plans with the trivia team. After a couple of messages from Ro – no reservations available early, we’re meeting at Pacific Moon – we finally got ourselves situated with dinner – ended up in Vivaldi (the formal seating dining room) with Murray, Ro, Mary and John. They were the only room with a table for 6 at the time we wanted. Dinner was great – and the company excellent. We all headed in different directions afterward – us to the comedian, Mary and John to the Piano Man show, and Murray and Ro undecided. As it turned out, we all ended up at the comedy show. Piano Man was so packed that John and Mary couldn’t find a seat.

Tom Drake was great as usual, the other guy, Jack Wilks, good for only a few minor giggles. But all in all, it was a good time. We headed back to the cabin to get our z’s in – early morning port call in Siberia tomorrow!
